At this range, electromagnetic weapons are used more frequently than missiles due to their increased effectiveness. Electromagnetic weapons as well as missiles are also some of the key weapons systems of medium ranged warfare, which usually takes place below 10,000 kilometers.Įlectromagnetic weapons are more effective at this range due to the shorter distances and generally hit their marks more often.
